Tomihiro Museum in gumma is dedicated to a local poet and shi ga artist hoshino tomihiro - a former mountain climber and gymnastic teacher who got seriously injured and became paralyzed developed a technique to draw with his mouth and started painting flowers as part of his recovery and healing process.

the site a mountain village north to tokyo has steep slope at the bank of a manmade lake that enjoys an interesting change due high tide low tide difference.

we designed a simple slab that dramatizes this phenomenon.
