K house is a domestic unit. originally, a segment of a row house which was built in the 50’s for the working class under a social ideology of low cost and simplicity. At the present, this special neighborhood in Tel aviv which contains several models of this row house is in the process of rejuvenation due to a new urban building scheme. As a result, the original apartments benefit of an additional volume which converts a 65m2 apartment on one level to a larger 200m2 urban unit on 2 levels under a double pitched roof.
